Floors 2-6 will have SRO?s. Each floor will have 10 SROs, and there will be 5 floors of SROs which will equal to 50 SROs. This should provide a good number of units, and a way to make 50 people no longer housing insecure. All of the SROs will have the same quality about them, and if you were to visit one of the units, you would have visited them all with the only difference is the view you would have.
While SROs are not qualified for subsidized housing, I will offer a program within FSP Realty for my SROs where the tenant will pay a portion of their income to the rent of the SRO therefore making it cheaper for them to live. This will make things affordable, and if they use services like Lifeline for telephone, then they will be able to possibly afford a nice IPTV? package. The decision the tenant makes for their bills is completely up to them, but with a subsidy on their rent, it gives them better options to make the most of their life.
On each floor of the SROs will be a laundry room with 3 single load washers, and 3 single load dryers. The tenant may use one machine at a time. This is to assure that the tenant shares with the other tenants that might also need to do laundry. No matter what, the tenant is responsible for managing their laundry immediately so the other tenants can also clean their clothes.
