Figuring out the income generated by the building will be simple. There are 5 apartment floors with 10 SRO?s each. This is 50 units. All of my SROs that aren’t subsidized is $750 per month. I try to market the fact that there is a private ¾ bathroom in each unit. This means a shower, sink, and a toilet all without having to share any of it. With that said, there is 50 units × $750 for a total of $37,500. This is not the best money maker, but it’s not the worst neither. I am assuming that none of these are subsidized. Instead, I am assuming for the fact that all subsidized units will only generate me $350 per unit rather than $750 forcing me to eat $400. This is why there is a high expense module for the business operations.
